Recently I have had three friends (whom don't know one another) name their baby boy Killian.  I'm not sure if this is a trendy new name but all I can think of is the beer when they tell me the name and then of course tell them I like it seeing as I do not want to hurt their feelings but it is NMS. Not to mention all I think of for a NN is "Kill"  What do all of you think about Killian, or are you finding other names your friend's are using that you just can't stand!?!?!

I don't get it .. All I can think of with Killian is the beer. Also, the nn Kill doesn't sound very appealing!!!

Not a fan of the K. Agree with pp about Cillian - people should spell it traditionally if they use it. Why do Americans love to turn Cs into Ks and Is into Ys??
