Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but is there really a difference between the two? I want to make LO's food when he is old enough and I've been thinking about getting the baby bullet. Is it worth it... or a waste of money?
My husband gave me a Baby Bullet for Christmas and I'm seriously pumped about it - can't wait to put it to use here in 3+ months.
With that said... two of my friends (mothers of toddlers) have regular blenders and they laughed when I told them about the Bullet. Soo, my guess is that the Baby Bullet is far from necessary BUT I can't wait to use mine.
I don't know much about the baby bullet, but I used a blender last time and it was easy. I am planning on getting a food processor as soon as my tax return check comes in. I think that would work even better plus I will be able to use it for other uses other than baby food.
If you already have a blender/stick blender/food processor of any sort then it's a waste of money. If you don't then you may want one but buying the above mentioned would probably be more cost effective.
They are so darn cute though.

If you're just making small batches a blender or food processor might be a pain. I used my food processor last time but always made huge batches and froze. I don't have a bullet so I don't actually know if it's really easier for small batches

I got one as a gift, so I'm keeping it, but I never would have bought one. It will be really nice to have, but it's a total luxury when i have a blender and two food processors already. I'm a kitchen gadget freak.

I just used my blender and Magic Bullet. Most of the stuff I made was in batches that lasted a month so the big blender worked best. I have a Magic Bullet and that worked good for a few smaller batch items. I only made small batches of foods that I wasn't sure DD would like (peas, peaches, green beans).
Personally I wouldn't buy anything fancy. I only made my own purees for about 3 months. DD went to finger foods at 9 months.
