My littlest swaddlemes are cotton because DS#1 was born in the summer. I'm wondering if they will be warm enough for my January (now, likely, February!) baby or if I should get fleece ones that are small. I do have one fleece one my sister got me for Christmas. Maybe if I add a onesie to his sleeping attire, it will be enough.....it's cold here but I don't think we keep our house too terribly cold....
thoughts? what do you do?
Re: Are you using fleece or cotton swaddlemes?
I have both fleece and cotton ones and I use both. If DS is dressed in a cotton sleeper I will use the fleece swaddleme. If he is dressed in a thick fleece sleeper I will use a cotton swaddleme so he is not over heated.
So far his temp has been fine.

We haven't really used the swaddlers (we just tightly wrap a crocheted blanket around her lower half), but we plan to use the fleece ones when we start. We'll just stick with the cotton onesies + a fleece one.
