Sweetest thing

DH has been oot for a week and I was feeling lonely last night so I put DD in bed with me.  I laid her down next to me but then she crawled on top of me so she could sleep on my chest.  It was the sweetest thing!!

What do your dc's do that just melts your heart?

what you just describes melts my heart as well as when he reaches for me and when he smiles at me.

Also when my dogs curl up next to me and sleep melts my heart.

I love when Nathaniel grabs my face and gives me a great, open mouthed, slobbery kiss on my chin!  And then he leans back and smiles.

I love that also!  It is the best feeling!  I love when he just sits and looks up at me and smiles while holding my hand and rubbing it.  He does tons that melts my heart!

Nora has been stroking my hair alot lately. I think it's the sweetest.

When I smile really big at him, he gives me a huge toothy grin back.  I love it!  And the kisses!!

Lately Niko has been really into "Goodnight, Moon" and asks "Mommy rock chair, read Goodnight book?" and he snuggles with me as I read this book over and over. 

Then he asks "Mommy hold" and looks up into my eyes as I lay him down for the night.  

I cherish this because Niko is almost always on the go and doesn't have time to show affection to Mom, lol.

Also, Niko is really good about holding hands when we are walking anywhere and I love when he says to me "Mommy hold finger." It is so cute.  He'll do that to DH (often prefers him if we're all three out and about), too.
