Little boys and diaper changes

When changing your DS's diaper, do you point his penis down? Is it possible? Since it is so small, it just sticks straight up! He has peed through a couple of diapers and this us the only thing I can think we are doing wrong.

I can't say for certain (we use cloth diapers, which fit a lot different) but I think you can tuck it down as you are securing the sides.

Tucking his penis down was the advice a friend of two boys who used disposables gave me.  Otherwise, she said you tended to have leakage.

Yes, point his little penis down!  That's one important tip I actually remember from my prenatal classes ... and the instructor said it several times!

YES!  DS is a bit of a "sniper" when it comes to diaper changes, even with pointing his penis down.  Sometimes it makes him mad when I tuck it while putting the new diaper on, but he doesn't seem uncomfortable at all, just mad that I'm messing with him.
