I am trying to figure this out. It is starting to drive me insane. I haven't slept in my own bed at night because I am up feeding him and we don't have a proper place where he falls asleep at night. I want to use his own crib in his own room. We don't have room for the PnP in our room nor do we have a bassinet.
1. Where does your LO sleep at night?
2. What does he or she wear? A swaddle/halo sack/sleep sack? What do they wear underneath the sleep sack/swaddle etc.?
Please help!
Re: Sleeping arrangements
DD is in a PNP next to our bed. She'll transition to the crib in her room sometime before I go back to work in mid-April.
At night DD sleeps in a onesie, a pajama with feet, and a swaddleme. The sleep sacks we have are a little too big for her still

DS "sleeps" in a bassinet next to my bed. I say "sleep" because he hates it and cries most of the night. My DH works midnights so I am about ready to lose it at night lol. I just bought a Rock N' Play that I am waiting to come to my house. I heard it is suppose to work wonders. I really hope so.
He wears a white onsie, and a footie onsie. I also use a Swaddle Me which seems to help a bit as well.
LO sleeps on a waterproof pad between us in our king sized bed. I roll on my side to nurse him and DH gets up to change his diaper when I switch breasts. It is nice to share the work of caring for baby. If LO fusses and nursing isn't settling him, DH sleeps with him on his chest.
LO wears a gown for easy diaper changes and is covered up to his waist with our bedding.
Scar sleeps in the bed with us. Sometimes, if I swaddle her, she will sleep the first few hours in the PnP next to our bed, but we don't push it. I love co-sleeping because I half wake up at her first sign of needing to eat and pop her on. I never fully wake up and she never cries so my H and I get the sleep we needs.
Usually Scar sleep in a sleeper or night gown, then I wrap her in a blanket or her swaddle.
1. In her crib 95% of the time. I will let her sleep on my chest after her early morning feed if she's a little fussy or if I am feeling particularly needy
2. A onesie with a thick crocheted blanket on the bottom half. She feels plenty warm, so I am not worried about it. We plan to try a swaddleme soon.
1. DS sleeps in a newborn rocker sleeper thing (not sure exactly how to describe it, so the link is here: https://www.target.com/p/Fisher-Price-Newborn-Rock-N-Play-Sleeper/-/A-11699689 ). We had him in a pnp for a few nights, but it is so nice to have the sleeper right next to the bed. DH sleeps like a rock, so when it's time to feed, I can flip on the lamp by the bed, support myself with a few extra pillows and just nurse right there. Then he goes back into the sleeper until he's hungry again.
2. We swaddle (kind of a loose swaddle b/c DS loves to stretch his legs) with a sleeper/sleep sack underneath.
She's in bed with me for now. H is on the couch. She will eventually move to her pnp or her crib, but right now she'll only sleep in bed with me.
She sleeps in a footed sleeper or a onesie and pants. She doesn't like to be swaddled, she likes to have her hand up by her face.

1. DS sleeps in a mini crib/cradle thing next to our bed. It makes it easy for me to check on him or pick him up for feedings.
2. He wears a sleeper and a swaddle blanket or a swaddle sack over it. It's pretty hot where we are though (southern CA).
1. LO sleeps in a bassinet next to our bed. We also have a small bedroom, and a pack n play would never fit, but our little bassinet works well. It also is on wheels so I scoot him into the living room when we are up for the day.
2. We usually keep him swaddled in either fleece receiving blankets or the Halo sleep sack we got from the hospital. He's naked underneath, so diaper changes are easier, plus then we do skin-on-skin for our naps during the day.

LO sleeps in a fleece halo sleep sack with the swaddle. Underneath he wears an undershirt and sleeper, and I actually tuck a fleece blanket around him as well. He also wears a hat.
It sounds like total overkill and like he would be sweating to death under all that but he got his Dad's Jamaican blood and wakes up cold and crying if he isn't bundled like crazy!
He sleeps in his crib, which is in my room. For the first week he wouldn't sleep and I put him to sleep in his bouncy chair beside my bed.
