Mandi was telling me how she made a video with a friend with the friend's cellphone.

It took place with the both of them in the school's bathroom in a stall.  The friend was singing "When I touch Myself" and Mandi was dancing.  Apparently they wanted to send the boy a video text message.  Thank god the boy couldnt receive video text messages.

I just dont know how to deal with this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she thinks it hilarious and honestly I'm surprised she even told me.  Now I'm wondering if its gonna end up on youtube....or is it not possible to upload video off a cellphone onto your computer....please tell me its not possible

Wow.  There is a young girl (9th grade I think) in deep trouble from doing something similar (although I think she showed a body part) in our area.  Too scary.  Tiem for the cell phone to be off-limits for a while.  Does the friend's parents know?  Scary stuff.

Yeah it's possible - all she has to do is email text the video to her email address.

Honestly if it were me, I'd disable the texting option on her phone or make her get one that couldn't take pictures or video, even if it wasn't her phone.

I have no tolerance for that sort of shenanigan.  And yes, I'm fully aware that I only have a toddler and no teenagers and could be talking out of my ass, but that's my first thought.

ditto eclaires...and I'd tell her that she's obviously not been responsible with the one she has and until she can prove that she is trustworthy and can act like a lady (my mom used to say that to me...i swore I'd never say it...but now as the mom of 2 girls, I see it coming....its gonna come out)  until she can act like a lady, she doesn't deserve extras like camera phones.

OMG...even after posted to this I was watching the news and two more girls near us have done the same thing.  They are in deep, deep trouble.  What is up with these girls.  I guess it ended up all over the schools even though they (each one) only sent it to a couple of people.  At least your DD and her friend had their clothes on...hopefully!
