Bright yellow vomit

Twice now I have vomited a bright yellow yolk colored vomit. Any clue as to why this is happening. Also how do I PREVENT it?

Sounds like bile.  You must have thrown up on an empty stomach.  I always thought when I was little that it was orange juice, but nope, just acid.

When you wake up in the morning... don't even move.  Just reach out and grab a cracker from your bedside table and eat it slowly.  This may soothe any first morning nausea.

Stomach bile. It's absolutely awful! The only way I prevent it from happening is eating at 3am.

Yep, it's bile. When my m/s was really bad, I would down a bunch of water if I felt like I was going to be sick, but hadn't eaten recently. That way I at least had something non-acidic to throw up.
