I got a BFP at 4.5 weeks after going off BCP. That was eleven years ago. Fertility in my 30s has not been as easy. It's amazing how your body can change.

My first cycle was 43 days I wasn't temping so I don't know if I ovulated. My second was 51 and I didn't ovulate.

I have been off the bcp for about 6-7 months and feel that my body is just starting to regulate.

  We are TTA right now, so no we did not ttc right off the pill

How long was your first cycle? Did you ovulate? 35 days, Oed on 23rd.

How long did it take for your body to get back to normal (whatever that may be for you)? Not sure what normal will be, but cycles so far after BCP have been 33 and 34 days, Oing on the 23rd both times.  Waiting to see what this month looks like.  (I started BCP at age 13 due to AF every 2 weeks)

Did you start TTC right away or wait? If you waited, how long and why? We tried the first month only to find out after charting that we tried a week early due to lack of knowledge about the effects of stopping BCP since I was on it 14 years and honestly didn't know what my cycles would be like after.  Wasn't expecting much since I just got off BCP, but now we are TTC more seriously.

Not sure if mine counts because I was on Mirena for 3-1/2  years, but prior to that I was on the pill for 4. 

1. 34 days, after that they've been 30 days. I didn't start temping until last month, but I think I did in November (got Mirena out in Oct). I remember getting EWCM and having no idea what was going on. Had to Google it. lol

2. I would assume 2 months? After the one 34 day cycle, they've been 30 days ever since.

3. We just started the beginning of Dec., to let whatever leftover BC I had in my system work its way out. Originally we were going to wait until Jan. to start, but I got impatient. ^_^

How long was your first cycle? Did you ovulate? I went off BCP in October 2011 and my cycles have been every 25-26 days since. I don't know if I ovulated the first month or not.

How long did it take for your body to get back to normal (whatever that may be for you)? I was lucky to regulate pretty much right away, at least with the length of my cycles. My face did break out like crazy, but that is thankfully starting to clear up.

Did you start TTC right away or wait? If you waited, how long and why? We waited a couple of months, although my doctor told us we didn't have to. No reason, other than that we had been planning for a long time to start TTC the beginning of the year, so we just stuck with that plan even though I ended up going of the pill a little earlier than expected.

How long did it take for your body to get back to normal (whatever that may be for you)?  - So far, it's been 3 months

Did you start TTC right away or wait? If you waited, how long and why?- Basically. I mean, we're not preventing. I'm temping. Right now, just hoping to get some regulation going.

I went of BC 8/2011, by first cycle was 46 days, my second was 52 days and im currently on day 69. Ive been to the dr to have my hormone levels checked and everything is fine. I used OPK this cycle but have not gotten a + yet, I did have 2 close +.  My face has broken out like im 16 again.  We have been trying since but no luck.
