Lost mucus plug!

Just lost it today about an hour ago, hoping this means labor is in the next week! Any second time moms have experience with this? How long did it take for you? Has any one else lost theirs?

i had thought i lost mine a wile ago. NOPE! I definetly lost mine today. It was really very disgusting. I was astounded how big it was. it was like the consistency of that farty gak stuff and clearish with what looked like old blood tinged. I, like you hope this means labor is imenent, although I have heard your mocus plug does not determine when you will go into labor, just that your body is making progress. I wish it meant, tomorrows for sure the day, but i will be doing lots of walking and eating spicy foods and having lots of sex this weekend to hopefully get things really rolling so we have a baby by monday! :-) i dont think i can do another week of work.

Sounds like mine too, same consistency and the size of like a cherry. Definitely nasty! Mine was clear with just a little pinkish tint. Good luck to you!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I lost mine 2 and a half weeks ago. And I had my bloody show this week on Monday. Still no outside baby. We've taken 2 good walks this week, and we're stocked up on spicy food snd pineapple. Sex is also a big part of our plan to get LO here on or before his due date.

I thought "the bloody show" was the mucus plug. But yea I have heard it could mean hours to a couple weeks. I am already having irregular contractions so hoping its within a week for me.

I just lost (part of) mine earlier today, too. XD I guess we'll see if we have our babies soon!
