The girl was already in the class when I started working there, so unfortunately I missed the original meeting with the parents. I can't say I'd be surprised if it went something like that though, especially with the dad. The mom seemed generally well spoken, but he was a different story.

PLS2010:

Probably the most out there name we love is Orion (can't quite bring myself to use it as a first name) because DH proposed to me on Christmas Eve 2008 by diatracting me to look at the constellation while he got the ring out. Lol If it is a boy that will probably be the middle name.

Xavier is my #1 name! I like it, b/c I like Xavi annd Javier, which are both Spanish, and I plan on speaking Spanish to the baby when we are alone. I am looking for a name that has a Spanish equivalent or pronunciation.

I'm a pianist & singer, so these aren't so bad to me, hahahaha! Our kid is DOOMED.
H has suggested Amadeus for a middle name (no thanks) and I suggested Allegra for a girl (shot down, with good reason).

Yeah, but unfortunately H isn't suggesting them as cool middle names. I guess I should just be happy that he has not mentioned Ludwig or Sergei...

FTR I love Allegra (Allegro not so much), but the drug ruined it for me.

My husband was having problems thinking of names, so I suggested Alejandro for our first child, thinking that would urge him into picking a name. No such luck; the baby was nicknamed Alejandro. With this pregnancy, I tried Fernando but was denied and so this baby's nickname is Roberto.
