With DS, I had a failed induction that led to a c-section (developed pre-e). I labored for 14 hours with no epidural and was actually pretty relieved when they mentioned c-section.
I recovered well (no infections or anything) but, the days following the c-section were so painful and I was so exhausted.
I've opted to have another c-section with DD and now that I am getting closer, I am getting nervous about the recovery (I will also have a 3 year old on my hands!). DH is taking a week off and my mom will be here for 2 weeks afterwards. So, I will have help.
Was your recovery from a RCS easier than your first? I'm hoping that since I won't be in labor this time, my body will handle it better.
Re: Getting nervous for RCS
RCS was easier than 1st c/s
