++GeauxTigers82++

Hey, I couldn't help but surmise by your screenname that you might be in Louisiana somewhere (or at least from here.) If by chance you live in the NOLA area, I wanted to let you know about a FB group I set up for parents of multiples. I can send you the link if it's relevant for you.

  • As a former Cajun (by way of Baton Rouge), I couldn't help but comment on this post. And also to share that for some reason I don't want anything else for lunch today but gumbo. Unfortunately, there are only 3 or so options for that in Indianapolis but I'll take what I can get!

    That's awesome! Where did you go to school? I went to Runnels School (on S. Harrell's Ferry Rd.) before my family (sadly) moved to Illinois my sophomore year of high school.  My heart is still there!

    that's crazy, i grew up in that area! my cousins went to school there. i don't know how old you are -  my cousins are between 23-25 years old. i went to various public elementary/middle schools, then went to (what was then) bishop sullivan HS, but graduated from the Louisiana School in Natchitoches.

  • Too wild! What a small world. I'm 29, so I most likely would not have met your cousins, unfortunately. How funny, though! :)  Nice to connect with a fellow Lousiana lady!  (And by the way I just got back from lunch and I did get my gumbo! Not the best shrimp ever but it'll do!)

  • That's crazy! I'm from New Orleans (Uptown), but I have cousins and best friends, old roommates, etc. that are from Baton Rouge and also went to Bishop Sullivan. They are 31-33. If you're 29, then maybe y'all were there at the same time.

    Would you by any chance know Michael Henn, Matt Bourqe, Jacob Daigle, Ben Lamoine, Lauren Pichoff...who else can I think of???

    I'm laughing at myself though, because I live in Austin, TX now, and I didn't even realize I have NOLA listed on my profile. I'm trying to think if I did that awhile ago, or if I wasn't paying attention when registering! I left New Olreans about 2 years after Katrina. I worked at Charity, and since I didn't have a job anymore, I decided to more closer to my parents (they moved away from there awhile back). Anyway, I'm in NOLA all the time visiting family and friends. I think we're coming for Mardi Gras, but I'm trying to avoid bringing the twins!

    Wait, I'm getting confused on who went to BS, and who lives in New Orleans!

    pea-kay, you live in New Orleans, right? Is it you that went to BS, or is that emilyec1?
