Our DS has always been the chill easy going baby...up until 2 weeks ago. He has reflux, but its been under control for a while. We used to be able to put him down and be able to attend to DD who has always been more needy. But lately he will not let us put him down for a second without freaking out. Is this a phase or something that happens around the 6 month mark? If we only had one baby it would be doable but with twins we dont have the time or energy to constantly deal with 2 high maintenance kids.
I should say that something we've noticed is that it seems like the milk is just sitting in his stomach not working its way through, so it could be his stomach bothering him. Just not sure what to do...
Re: Do they get more clingy as they get older??
Yeah, some do, especially as they go through separation anxiety. Mine didn't hit that stage till 9-10 months though. It can be exhausting!
If you think it might be a reflux issue I'd try to get him in to see the pedi. It might not be adequately controlled; something like a med change might help.
