OK ladies my maternity leave is coming to an end and DD will be going to a home daycare.
How many dipes do you send a day she will be there for 9 hours?
What wetbag would you recommend I feel like the medium one I have is so small.
I am thinking about this one:

Any tips on schedules, laundry etc. that are helpful as we all know evenings can be busy.
Re: wet bags/daycare/tips
i use a medium wet bag for daycare but i only fill it with clean ones. they usually change infants every two hours, but then i'd add in an extra one or two for poop incidents our state regulations say dirty CDs need to go in a plastic container with a lid, so i use a rubbermaid for that.
i only wash diapers every other day, sometimes three days. but when DD was that young i washed every night because my stash wasn't as big. i put them all in after she goes to bed, and then put them in the dryer before i go to bed... it's been working!
My DS is headed to daycare next week and with 2 other children things get a little crazy around here at times. Since I trust my daycare I?m taking basically a weeks worth of diapers and wetbags (med size) on Monday for the entire week. That way I don?t have to remember anything in the mornings and if different people pick up or drop off they just have to worry about the baby and nothing else. This is the same system I used with both DD and it worked out great.
(I keep a 16oz container of BM in the fridge at daycare and top it off every evening. In case of emergency they have a few frozen bags of milk in their deep freeze)
That's really cute, I've never seen a wetbag like that. I use a Leslie's Medium wetbag, it fits 6 diapers I think. He usually goes through 4-5 each day, so it's the right size. I send 6 in his bag every day, just in case.
I have enough diapers to go 3 days, but we usually wash every other day, just to keep ahead of things. I can usually get the laundry done and folded by the time I go to bed, if we start it right when we get home.
My dad watches DD for about 11.5 hours 3 days a week. We put enough diapers for a change every 2 hours plus one extra.
I love Kanga Care's wetbags for this purpose-- they're really big. I also send an extra (smaller) wet bag for soiled clothes/burp cloths/bibs.
We do diaper laundry every other day. On days that we work, we usually start diaper laundry after DD goes to bed. Our stash is big enough that we don't really need the diapers in the wash for the next day's care, so we don't have to worry much about getting all the pockets stuffed before the next morning.
