Hi all.
DH had blood work done and found out that he has low testosterone. The doctor gave him a prescription for a cream, but I'm finding info online that says that it can make men sterile/cause birth defects and women shouldn't get near the cream.
His doc knows we're TTC, so I'm not sure why she'd prescribe it.
Are any of you dealing with this? If so, how is your husband being treated?
Thanks ladies!

I've read about hcg shots. Maybe I'll ask DH to ask about that at his next doc appt. Thanks and good luck to you!
My husband was just diagnosed with low testosterone this week and was prescribed Clomid by his doctors. We literally just picked up the prescription today, so I don't have any more information than it was what was prescribed.
I would definitely call the doctor tomorrow morning to discuss the cream and side effects.
ETA: Clarity.

Throwing in my 2 cents on your reply! My husband was also found to have low testosterone in November and was prescribed Clomid 3 times per week. His numbers were in the 300 for free and total testosterone and he just had a retest and he is over 600 in both categories! Fingers crossed for you and your DH to have great results, as well!
Wow! That's really great! This whole week has been an emotional whirlwind for us with finding out all of these results, so I really appreciate your story. I hope my DH has great results like your DH had
Fingers crossed things keep on the up and up for you!
