37 week apt- led to going to hosptial

I have had a very uneventful pregnancy up until this point, being in normal ranges for everything. Today at my appointment my blood pressure was elevated so my OB sent me over to be monitored at the hosptial. Once I got there BP was was much better and normal again, and I was having some contractions! I now have to go for NSTs twice weekly until baby comes. All this just makes me want her to come now! I guess I am lucky I have had an uneventful pregnancy so far, but three appointments a week does not sound appealing, I want her out!

I can commiserate a bit.  My BP was also high yesterday, they retook it at the end of my appointment and it was low enough that we didn't have to follow up at the hospital but my next appointment was bumped up to Monday.  At that point I will get an internal and we will formulate a gameplan based on my status - either frequent monitoring or induction.

I also feel lucky to have been uneventful to date, but I am really hoping things progress naturally...
