New Comer :)
Hi. I have been browsing here in The Bump but decided to post something on a local board. 
I am 15weeks pregnant, and still going strong! However I had pretty easy 1st trimester as far as morning sickness and so on, but this week, I have been having some pretty nasty heartburn....yikes. Is there anybody who experienced a real bad heartburn started on 2nd trimester? I never had heartburn in my life, and I just don't know what to do. 
How do you find some pregnant friends, I don't have anybody who is pregnant around me!!

I too had HB that started in the 2nd tri - I've been trying to deal with it with Tums and glasses of milk, but I'm talking to my doctor next week about getting on something prescription.
I know other gals have taken prescription meds for their HB.

I've had really bad heartburn and my OB suggested Zantac or Prilosec but when I told her those didn't work for me with my first pregnancy, she gave me a prescription for Protonix. It works miracles!

Hi. Thank you for all your advices, I just went to get TUM......see it will work, if not, like a lot of have said, I will just call up my doctor and discuss to see if he can give me any kind of prescription. Now I have upper and lower stomach ache along with the heartburn, so I don't know what the heck is going on my body today! Ugh. These unknown pain is little scary....
