Diff between Thirsties Duo Wrap and Diaper Cover?

Both are covers for prefolds or fitteds, right?  Confused...

Looking at both for a newborn btw.  Thanks!

Yes, they're both covers. The duo has snaps to adjust the rise, so there is only 2 sizes. Size 1 goes to about 15-18 lbs-ish. The diaper cover is sized XS, S, M, L.

Ahhh.... so it would make sense to stock up on more of the Duos with a wider range than the sized Thirsties covers?  I think I just got a brand new wrinkle in my brain.

Yeah, I bought XS because I didn't find out the difference until later. I liked the XS, they have a little bit of a cutout so it might fit better under the umbilical cord (my baby was long enough that none of our newborn diapers came close to it, but I don't think that's common). And Thirsties says the duos are a trimmer fit, so for an older child you might use Duos during the day, and the sized cover at night. For a newborn you probably use the same kinds day and night so I don't know that that makes a difference.

Just to add to your wrinkle. I hated the duos, the rise snaps were always coming undone and they leaked for us until our LO was around 6 weeks. Our LO outgrew them around 5 months.

I love the sized covers though. We are just now outgrowing the smalls and use the mediums with our overnight diaper.

PP are right. But there is also a Duo Wrap Pocket Diaper.

FWIW, Thirsties Duo Wraps covers are our second faves (aplix, not the snaps). The snap version is awful. We could never get a good fit. We absolutely love the Blueberry Coveralls.
