Quick question:  How are your pups adjusting to your LO?  I know you have boxers and they can be an unruly breed, but I get the feeling you have a good handle on yours.  I was just curious, as I have bigger dogs, but are fairly well trained/respectful/mannerly.

Re: *SoonToBeMsP*

  • They've been great. Our female has become "mama dog" and alerts us anytime DD cries or whimpers. Our male has taken a more hands off approach, but I assume that is because he was a mama's boy and now this little human is taking up so much of my time. The last couple days he's come back to me and now tries to cuddle anytime I am "alone".

We haven't had any issues at all, and they understand that I am not 100% and I can see them taking it easy on me (walking slower, not pulling, no passing on stairs, etc). No aggression towards DD, either, which we weren't expecting.

  • Yay!  Sound like some good pups!  That's so cute that they're so intuned to you that they know to take it easy with you.  I'm pretty sure mine are oblivious that I'm pregnant, so I don't expect them to understand "recovery."  However, I don't put up with much crap from them, no jumping, begging or excessive barking.

Glad all of your babies are doing so well :)
