DS is 14 months and nurses twice a day (beginning of day and before bedtime). I have had a terrible head cold the past week and have gotten a z-pack to knock it out. It's classified as a B drug while pregnant but has not been tested (or tested well enough) on breastfeeding moms, so I am not going to nurse DS for the 5 days I'm on the z-pack.
I am worried that my supply will tank, especially since he nurses twice a day (and more for comfort -- about 5 minutes total each time on most days).
I guess I'm looking for encouragement that my supply won't completely diminish over the next few days? I had planned on weaning him around March -- I guess it wouldn't be terrible if it just happened to be now?

Yes! Thank you so much, ladies!! I will continue through the pack. DS is fighting a small cold too (almost always impossible to keep him from getting sick if DH and I are both sick).
Thank you!
