Mom groups around Naperville?

I live in Naperville and have twin 7 week boys. Have been looking for a mom group as well. If interested in chatting, send me a pm I feel like I am in college again trying to meet new friends!

I'm around Naperville and haven't had a ton of success with Meetup either. If anyone is interested in some sort of playdate or outing, let me know, we should try to organize something! I have a 9 month old and a 22 month old.

I am up for it! I have taken the kids for a stroll on the river walk a few times due to the great winter we have been having, I hear next week will be a bit warmer. I have also gone to the mall in Aurora as well.

I haven't had much luck either, but I'd love if one existed. Their is a Naperville Moms Network, but I haven't looked around their website too much. It does look like their pics are of kids in the toddler age range. 

Maybe we could start one on the meetup site?

Oh, I had an idea while I was in the shower - does everyone use Facebook? Groups and Events are so easy to set up on there maybe that would be a great way to go. I'll set one up and if everyone would like to join I'll post a link and then we can figure out things. Yea!

I live in Naperville as well and have a 2 1/2 year old and a 8 week old. I would love to meet some moms and have playdates since I am staying home from work for awhile.

A new mom's group is starting at Bellies to Babies Studio in downtown Downers Grove. It will meet for 5 weeks on Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 starting in March. It will be a place for new moms to get together to discuss relationships, feeding, bonding with baby, birth stories, how to maintain your own identity since becoming a mom and many other topics. It is lead by myself, a doula and nurse, and my co-worker who is a doula and LLL leader in the area. If anyone is interested feel free to send me a message at samma_13@yahoo.com. Proceeds of the group go towards Chicago Volunteer Doulas which is a not for profit organization that provides doula and childbirth education services to lower income women in the Chicagoland area.
