 We had high winds and storms the other night.  All of us ended up in bed together along with a shaking dog.  It felt a little like the Sound of Music only I wasn't up to singing "Raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens..." at 2 am.  Otherwise, warm (60s- 70s), humid, overcast.

Kinner has really expanded his vocab lately and picks up lots of words.  We hit the zoo recently and it was the first time that he really  absorbed it all and reacted to the animals.

The weather has been unseasonably warm in Maryland.  We did get snow last weekend!  Today is 35* and overcast.  I am hoping for a little bit of snow so that we can take the girls sledding.

Both of my girls are really smart, I love watching them learn together.  This morning I was taking DD #2 to school and DD #1 was staying at home with DH, #2 went up to #1 and gave her a huge hug and a kiss and said bye without me saying anything.  They've been getting along so well lately and it's great!

KNemo

1. It's raining cats and dogs right now, but we had a few days of glorious sunshine after the snow storm. It felt like spring.

2. We are entering the terrible threes right now, so not a whole lot of cute going on, but his new ability to tell elaborate stories is super fun. He makes up entire scenarios and we can't stop laughing. He's a funny boy, it's his saving grace.

SchruteBucks

1.  It's been in the mid-40's with a lot of raining.  Last week the rain was so bad that there was flooding and a few deaths.  Such is life in the Pacific NW.  No where else I'd rather live though.  I love rain

2.  I can't get over how my kids are growing and changing.  My daughter is 10 and every morning I swear she looks more like a young woman.  I'm enjoying every hug, snuggle, hand holding and deep conversation that I can get with both of them since I know it won't be long before I'm the last person they'll want anything to do with

1. It's been nice today and by nice in MN in January I mean about 30 degrees. We don't have a lot of snow which is nice after last year.

2. My favorite thing right now is DD sings what she is doing. I also love dress up time which happens just about every night.

FX this is our month. I would really love an October baby!

1. It is approaching 80 degrees here.  In late January!

2. My late walker is gaining so much confidence.  The percentage of time he's walking is going up and up, and he's even starting to power-walk when he's in a hurry.  His new sign for the week is "water" and his new word is "bubble."

1. It's been pretty nice here...in the 50's. Tomorrow it's supposed to get up to 60. 

 

2. DS's birthday is on Sunday. My baby boy is turning 2! I can't believe it. He's growing up way too fast. We are having a Toy Story party for him Saturday. He is excited to have "pie cake" (what he calls cupcakes). We got him a tricycle and I can't wait to see his face when he opens it.

 

I'm waiting to test until AF is late, so we'll see. I started spotting, so it looks like we may be out this month. FX I'm wrong!
