? for those who have weaned before

I looked back about 10 pages and didn't see this question asked, so if it is a repeat please forgive me. (I know that is annoying)

My DS is 1 in a few weeks.  We knew for $ and insurance reasons we wanted to start trying for #2 ASAP b/c it takes us a while to get PG.  He was 100% EBF from the breast for 9 months, the 10 month he nursed and received my frozen stash in sippy cups.  At 10 months he was completely weaned from the breast and I introduced formula.  So basically I haven't BFed in over 6 weeks.  I had an easy weaning process dropping one feeding a week till we had our last feeding together. Sometimes I still feel like I am letting down (no leaking though) and I have noticed that I can sqeeze and still see milk.

Ok all that to ask.  How long does it take for milk to dry up?  is 6 weeks normal?  My IRL friends all dried up within a week.

Some women never completly dry up ive heard.  I stopped nursing end of Oct. and every once in awhile in the shower I will leak a little.

After 15 months of nursing DD1 it took me 6 months to "completly dry up". I think it all depends.
