Congestion and sleeping position

If your LO has had a cold, where/ how did you have them sleep?  DS has a little runny nose. It breaks my heart he is going through this so young. My DD was 4 months old before she had a cold. I'm not sure if the bouncer or on the boppy would be safer. Thanks!!

I think our LO's are around the same age! DS has a bit of a stuffy nose and one eye is leaking tons of discharge (blocked tear duct) and he's 2 weeks, 6 days old.  We've been sucking his nose out best we can and folding up a receiving blanket to put under his head when he sleeps.  It helps him breathe a bit easier.
