Suggestions for nursing bras with lots of support and coverage.

I was browsing nursing bras and tanks at Target online and I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions for a good bra with a lot of support.

I am 5'2" and currently a DD. I have been having trouble with support and coverage and hope I can find a good, and cheap, bra to help make my life a little more comfortable.

Any suggestions?

  • I got both tanks and nursing bras from mommygear.com  They have pretty affordable bras and their sizing is accurate. They have all different brands It was a great site for me because I am an H and they have voluptuous section! haha

  • I like medela bras w the underwire. Great support and coverage. Around $30. The underwire has not, to my knowledge, decreased my supply.

  • I'm a 36DD and I got some nice bras from JCP.  they were about $15, and are super comfy and have great coverage and support.  They had with wire or without.

  • I was a DD during pregnancy and went up to a G after my milk came in.  I love the Bravado bras and the Elle MacPherson bras.  But IMO you should wait to see what your size is once your milk comes in.

  • None of them seem to have good support.  I'm a DDD and without formed cups and underwear I might as well not be wearing a bra.  I haven't seen any though that weren't what I would call full coverage.  You don't really see the skimpy styles of bra in a nursing version.  Price really depends on where you buy them.  I've seen them online in my size for $75 but at motherhood (not my size) for $40.
