I've never posted name ideas on here yet but would like feedback...

Girl: Lorelai, Harper or Avery

Boy: Zander or Yorick (DH and FIL are Richards but not a fan of continuing that specific name)

Zander is ok. I would only use Yorick if it is a nod to your or YH's ancestry.

I like Lorelei. 

Harper and Avery seem pretty unisex, which is NMS. 

Zander - prefer as a nickname for Alexander.

Yorick - all I can think of is Hamlet. Most kids in high school read this. I don't know if your son would take kindly to sharing a name with a Skull. 

I don't mind Richard actually. Could be a nice middle name if you don't love it.

Unless Yorick is a family name, I would skip it (and even then I'd use it in the mn spot). "Alas, poor Yorick, I knew him" is all I can think of. Pretty much everyone reads Hamlet in HS, so that would be the first thing to jump to mind for a lot of people. Not sure I would want to name my child after one of the most famous skulls in literature. 

I love Lorelei spelled with an 'e'. So pretty!

Hehe! I never even thought of Hamlet when considering Yorick! That was DH's choice anyway...I think its going to officially leave the list!

I like all of your girl names...in this order: Harper, Avery, Lorelai.  Boy names are okay, just NMS.  Don't think you can go wrong with any of them.  GL!

Lorelai - pretty but NMS

Harper - too trendy for me but not bad

Avery: prefer this on a boy but I like it for a girl too

Zander: it's ok

Yorick: all I can think of is Hamlet and poor Yorick's skull.... contemplating death and life... brevity and suicide... not too positive

Lorelai -- Its okay. Makes me think of Gilmore Girls.

Harper -- Hate it.

Avery -- Its okay, kinda cute, but it bugs me that I used to be friends with a guy with this name.

Zander -- Its alright. I like it, but prefer it spelled Xander.

Yorick -- I like this a lot. It reminds me of Ulrich b/c they sound similar.

LOVE Harper. The other two are cute as well. 

Don't love the boy names, and prefer Alexander with NN Xander than just Zander.
