Welcome to the check in group for Pregnant After Preemie! This group is also for those who are actively trying to conceive, planning on it, or just thinking about it...
So, list your first name, due date if you're pregnant or ttc timeline, preemie's name and gestational age at birth as well as the reason for their prematurity.

News: Please welcome mybb, sucrets4 who is pregnant with baby#2, she is due September 29th,
Nat3102006 is pregnant with #2, due in August 9th. jaxlynn is full term and expecting to deliver soon. Congratulations Mama! DomesticDiva has been receiving 17p shots and is still having some contractions, but is doing pretty well. Praying for a full term baby. faeriequeeneonwow is scheduled for her c-section tomorrow (1/26) we can't wait to see pictures of your little guy. Also congratulations to Alaratta1 on the birth of her full term baby boy (1/6/12).

I just have to say congratulations to all of the mommies who had another baby after a preemie! It makes me feel so much better to see that most mommies who had a baby due to pre-e had their next baby full-term, it gives me hope for when that time comes for me!!!!

Hi! It has been a long time since I updated my status on the check ins....I am actually 25 weeks pregnant! I am just entering the stage of pregnancy that I started to show signs of pre-e with DS, and so far so good this time around! Keeping positive and am inspired by all the babies born full term after their preemie siblings! Here is my updated info:

Thank you! I will def be posting more often- last day of work on Monday so I can start keeping my feet up more and relaxing...as much as I can with an almost 2 year old at home...
So far so good with the BP this time around...feel a little more prepared and aware of the warning signs when last time I had no idea what pre-e is, and that my swelling was not just "normal". Comparing pictures of myself now and at the same time last there is a big difference...I am really hoping to get full term this time. Each day is a day closer...

probably will have csection Aug 23-29th depends what doctor wants and how many times i go into labor fingers crossed for 37wks
Lawrence Michael is here! He arrived Thursday evening at 5:38, weighing in at 7lbs, 14oz and measuring 21 inches long. He has blonde hair and blue grey eyes and looks just like his daddy. C/S went well, no complications, and recovery has been smooth. We're having issues with BF-ing and Lawrence has lost 10% of his birth weight so we're now supplementing with and probably fully switching to formula over the course of today. I wish I could get BF-ing to work, but my DH put it into perspective for me last night - my body was able to sustain a pregnancy to full term so not being able to BF isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.
