Leaking Best Bottoms

Hi, 

I'm new to this board, so I'll start with hello! I'm FTM to my 7 week old son. Trying to do exclusive CDs. We have invested in a full set (9 covers, 24 inserts) of Best Bottoms. Here's my issue: Quite frequently he is wet on the inside of his leg along the diaper line. When I put a new diaper on I make sure the insert is completely inside and I pull on the gussets to make sure they cover the insert, but still his clothes get wet. This morning he was drenched! (And therefore, so was I because he fell asleep nursing...)

Any ideas?

    How often are you changing him, and are you using the stay dry or hemp inserts?  I find that DS will soak through the stay dry insert way faster than the hemp, and will typically leak around the inside of the leg.

    I change him with every feeding. I have the stay dry, haven't tried the hemp inserts. I'll give that a try. Thanks!

    It might also be a fit issue- maybe experiment with other brands to see how they fit him?  Good luck, I hope it's an easy fix for you!
