Hello everyone.
I am a first time mom, going to EBF. I am going to have to go back to work within 6 or 8 weeks, so I wanted to be prepared to pump as well.
For those who have done this before, is a double electric pump really the best way to go? Or would I be ok with a single electric? I've even heard people can get more milk from using a manual pump. Ah!
Any advice would be awesome
Thanks!

You need a double electric. A single would take twice as long - and you probably don't have the breaks to waste time.
Most people get either the Medela Pump in Style Advance or the Ameda Purely Yours.

Double electric and possibly a Medela manual if you have extra money laying around.
I can pump with a Symphony or a Pump in Style and still get another oz or two with the manual pump. The manual is nice to have in case your pump dies unexpectedly, you forget your pump, you get caught somewhere, etc. I keep it in my car.
Definitely need a double electric! My insurance covered a large portion of the cost- look into that if it's $$ that has you worried.
