X had his 2nd CT scan

so yesterday X had his second CT scan and then we saw the doc- basically the first vertebre is a circle that goes around the spinal cord- well Xavier has the back half and not the front (they aren't certain but they think because he doesnt have the front- this is what caused his torticollis)

The radiologist- seems to think that the bone will grow- and its just delayed- so right now we are in a "wait and see" pattern. He still has to go to PT since his tilt is improving so much and we go back in 3 months. We do have to be careful to avoid trauma because it can cause paralysis if his spinal cord gets injured and he might not be able to do contact sports but he's healthy and it doesnt seem to be hurting him...

Glad to hear that with some caution, it is nothing serious.  Thoughts are with X and tell him that PT is good for you

Hey there, mama.  I know we already chatted, but wanted to pop in again and say that I'm happy to hear they seem somewhat positive about it growing on it's own.  And yay that the PT is working!
