I am 11 days pp and the bleeding has been pretty persistent, which
I know is normal. It seemed like it started to get a little bit heavier
yesterday and today, then today I passed a few HUGE clots. Like,
alarmingly huge, baseball-softball sized. I've never seen anything like
it and I'm on kid #3. Has anyone experienced this? I have a call in to
my ob, just waiting for a call back,

Re: Super TMI postpartum question
I don't have any advice other than I am glad you called the ob as if I remember correctly there is concern if clots are bigger than a golf ball.
Hope all goes well!!!

I was told clots are normal, but never warned about size. I passed on a little smaller than a golfball yesterday and was flabbergasted by it!
Definitely keep us posted. Sounds like late hemorrhaging to me - the whole softball/baseball size is a lot! I remember hearing to look out for that with DS and was thinking "holy crap! What do you DO with something that big???"

I'm 11days pp, too, and while I haven't passed any really big (egg sized) clots since last week, I definitely noticed my bleeding picked up a lot lately. The last two nights I've bled off the back of my pad, through my pjs and one night it got onto the sheets. I know that's TMI but at least the bleeding part sounds normal to me. I was told it could get heavier or lighter for several weeks. My OB said when it gets heavy to make sure to lay down more and relax more so that it can't slow down.
Keep us updated!
