I am pregnant with my 4th baby and I experience pre-term labor with every baby so I am thinking it is the reason why I have NO MILK ever. I literally get no let down or leaking or dripping or anything. With each baby I tried for almost 2 weeks after baby was born but the most I ever got out was MAYBE 5 CC's (that is CC's and not OZ's)
My questions are 1) Is there anything I can do before baby gets here to try and get milk in and 2) Is there any miracle cure to get milk to come in??????
P.S. While in the hospital I use the lactation nurses however they usually have told me to give up which I think is out of character for anyone in that business so I might be a hopeless case!

This - sometimes I feel like the LC's at the hospitals just do what they can in the hospital, and once you leave you're no longer their problem. LLL is incredibly supportive...and they would be able to at least have you on their radar so when you do deliver, they can hopefully provide the help you need even after you go home. go on the website and start going to meetings now - make some contacts there and that way you already have a support system.
You CAN do this. it might be a little more work, but it can be done.
Any chance you've got hypoplastic tubular breasts? https://www.breastfeeding-problems.com/tubular-hypoplastic-breasts.html
Alternatively, any chance you had a surgical breast reduction that involved removing most of your milk producing glands or severing the ducts to the nipple?
If the answer to both questions is "no" (and even if the answer is "yes"), then I highly doubt it's a lost cause, but I would seriously consider discussing this with a medical specialist. I do believe that there are things that can *help*, but there's no magic formula to start milk production if there's no milk production, and no way to force ducts to regrow if the ducts have been severed.
