Oh gosh. This SO depends!

Pampers, Luvs (same company I believe, they have the same fit), Target and 7th Gen all worked for us. DD2 couldn't do the Pampers Swaddlers with Dry Max (it gave her a nasty chemical burn) but the Pampers Baby Dry and Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive worked just fine. We mostly do Luvs or Target now during the day and Pampers Extra Protection for night. I think my favorite brand is Luvs though. I only did the Pampers swaddlers when they were in preemie and NB size diapers.

Huggies and the Costco Kirkland brand diapers didn't fit them well at all. LOTS of blow outs in those diapers. 

But it really just depends on the kid. Diapers fit differently so you have to find which one works best

It really depends on the kid but for newborn pampers and then what worked best for me was the walmart brand White Cloud  (they may not have them anymore?) way better than Huggies or Pampers. I heard the Target brand was good too. I think you just gotta try different ones to find thats right for baby

My first was a pampers and luvs baby huggies did not work for him at all. My second is just the opposite he leaks in pampers and luvs but does very well in huggies and target.

FYI: If you watch sales and use coupons huggies are almost always cheaper than a store brand diaper. I've been getting the packs that are $7 in target brand for $5 or less in huggies for months now.

We used pampers swaddlers for the first month, then cloth diapers until about 5 months, and then seventh generation. With a little target in the mix too!

I've tried almost every diaper under the sun, but I definitely prefer either Parent's Choice (Walmart brand), Luvs, or Pampers.  Currently we are using the Walmart brand & they work great for us.

We shop at Bj's... so we buy BJ's own brabd. Personally for us, they are fantastic!!! We also buy Luv's. When our DS was a NB we used Pamper's Swaddlers NB and Size 1..then changed....

DD- Huggies worked best, she leaked in pampers and luvs - potty trained at 2.

DS1- Pampers were awesome! Potty trained at 18 mos.

DS2- Pampers until he hit a year, and then we used pampers or luvs. He potty trained at 18 mos.

DS has sensitive skin and isn't able to use Target brand diapers, Walmart brand diapers or pampers.  So we've stuck with Luvs for during the day and Huggies overnights for overnight.  Haven't had any problems with either of them.

We use Cloth but when we travel, we typically use Luvs or Huggies pure and natural.

Just like with bottles, the kid will decide which diaper works best whether they leak out of them or they have a reaction to them.

My personal faves are Pampers though. We shall see...

For newborns I like the Pampers swaddlers. After that, we use the Target brand. Never had a leak and are WAY cheaper. We used them with DD and wish we would have used them for DS.

Target. Even now, DD sleeps 15+ hours on the weekends (she's an anomaly, I know) and never leaks.

I've always used Pampers for newborns. I switch after about size 2 I think. Right now we've got the boys in Huggies because my younger one soaks through anything else, but I've also used Luvs and Target brand. For lighter wetters those are good too.

I used Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive until DS was about 6 mo old. I found they were the softest and I don't recall ever having a full out blowout with them. I switched to Target generic or Luvs as he got bigger.

For newborn we did huggies little snugglers, they kept the poop in best. Once we started solids it was Kirkland or huggies snug and dry. We did not like Pampers. They just felt cheap.

Huggies.  I tried pampers early on but they gave DD a really, REALLY bad diaper rash so I only buy huggies now.

It's totally the opposite for us! Luvs always seemed to hold WAY more pee than Pampers. Until I discovered the overnights that is but Pampers Baby Dry or Cruisers vs. Luvs. Luvs won out every time.

Pampers for day and Huggies Overnights. Overnights weren't needed until a few months ago, before that, one size up in pampers was good for 12 hours.

I've tried really hard to like the target brand, but we always had leaks. And I've heard good thing about Costco's Kirkland, but I swear everytime I am there they never have her size. I do love Costco's wipes and they are the best deal around.
