Flouride?

I recently took DD for her 6-month check-up.  She is EBF.  The pediatrician gave me a prescription for flouride for her.  She said that until DD gets about 1 cup of water daily (whether I ever switch to formula and use tap water or when she's old enough to drink water by itself), that I should give her these flouride supplements. 

I had never heard of this.  Just curious if anyone else has been given a script for flouride, too.

We were!  Just the other day!  Only, they office called to tell us the doc had called the script in to the pharmacy.  So I didn't get to talk to the doctor yet about it.  None of my friends' babies are on it.
