is my son doing this?

Recently during feedings he will latching eat for 5-10 mins and then he will start YANKING himself off, get fussy, look for the breast, latch, suck a few times and repeat.

This will go on for awhile and is very frustrating for both of us. He will scream and cry, I am in pain from him yanking and don't know what is wrong.

Thought maybe it was from him being gassy or belly ache, but doesn't seem to fart or anything during this time. Thought maybe he was mad he wasn't getting anything but I can manually express milk and often end up squirting him trying to check. 

As well as the above he is also latching on and not letting go for extended periods of time. Often he will fall asleep at the breast but he will latch on and refuse to let go. He isn't sucking or will suck once in a 5 min period but he is suctioned on very tight! If I try to move he bites down on me and wont let go. If I am able to pry it from his mouth he instantly wakes screaming until I put him back. This can go on for an hour plus. I can't use the bathroom, eat, sleep or get anything else done because I am stuck with him stuck on me! Plus my nipples are getting sore and chapped from all the above!

Im getting so frustrated not knowing what to do or what is going on?

How old is your baby? Have you offered a paci? He might be trying to comfort suck and getting mad when there's milk.

Definitely get good at breaking suction at the corner of his mouth before you try to pull your boob away.

DD does something similar and my LC and I discovered that even though I have milk, she isn't getting it due to how she suckles.  This could be his problem.  I would visit with a LC if /i were you before your nipples get very damaged.
