Finished my run for Tripp!

Hey ladies!

I ran my half marathon for Tripp yesterday (I wore red in his honor). I ended up raising $1,420 for DebRA, which will benefit other kids with EB. 

It was a tough 13 miles. I was battling a major cold, mastitis, and some seriously painful knees which started hurting around mile 9, but I managed to finish in under 3 hours. 

Thank you to those who donated, and thanks for the words of encouragement!

    Way to go! After I am done breast feeding Liam, my goal is to get back in shape and start training to run a marathon eventually. Running for a cause would motivate me even more! Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

    Awesome, I didn't donate directly to you but I did donate to one of the others going around.  I think what you raised is amazing.  Sorry about all your ailments but knowing you finished despite all of that makes you INCREDIBLE!

    Great job!  I'm impressed that you a) raised all that money and b) ran a half and c) ran a half with mastitis!  You are SuperWoman!

    Good job! I don't know why I never knew about Tripp before. I spent most of my day reading the blog and balling my eyes out!
