I guess b/c DH and I weigh in on Mondays I always feel like I should post a Monday check in. Also, considering 1/1/2012 was a Sunday and the board is quiet on the wknds- I like Mondays better ;)

How was the weekend?  Any little slip ups you want to vent about? Any AWs???

  • I gained this week, but only 0.6 lb. Not bad considering I went completely overboard on our date night Tuesday night, and didn't really curb the rest of my eating the rest of the week.

    This week, I am getting myself back into exercising, hoping it will jump start my weight loss again. I was on my parents' treadmill for 50 minutes yesterday, 30 of which was jogging. It was really slow since the most I've done is about once a week since Christmas, but it felt good to go for that long again. I'll be doing a shorter time tonight, maybe increasing the intensity a little to see what I'm capable of at this point.

    Here's my AW: I am right now wearing a pair of size 10 pants!! And, I'm not holding my breath to keep them from digging into my waist! Doesn't seem like much, but I probably haven't worn these in about 6 years, so I am lovin' life right now!

    Awesome Wendy!  I was all kinds of excited when I got back to 10's :)  Funny how a silly # can make us feel different.  Your post reminded me of the Progressive commercials where the woman calls about losing weight and gets a guy who has no clue, so she asks for a woman.

  • After 2 "big" weeks I knew things would slow down so I'm trying not to get frustrated. I needed to lose 2lbs a week every week to be at my goal Mexico weight by 3/5 and this weeks .8 kind of puts me at a disadvantage, but I'm happy for a loss.

    I ordered 2 new DVDs from Amazon (ripped in 30 and Cardio Conditioning- both from Biggest Loser). They came Thursday completely crushed into pieces in an envelope stamped "rcv'd in damaged condition" from USPS. Grrr I was really looking forward to switching it up. Amazon is sending new replacements, but I gotta wait...

    I'm loving' Extreme Shred and Shed by Jillian Michaels. Level 2 of the dvd is crazy. The last 5 minutes all I wanted to do was lay on the floor b/c my arms and legs felt like total jello.

  • I stayed the same.  I suppose I'm happy to not have gained but once I reached my mini goal before vacation I made a new mini goal and it looks like it's not happening.  Anyway, I did eat pizza last night and a couple DiBella's cookies so that was a big fail.  But otherwise, I've stayed pretty "clean" as far as my diet.

    Another fail - I stopped working out last Wednesday.  I went to see my grandmother that night, am teaching classes in Lancaster for 8 weeks on Thursday evenings so can't work out then and then got really sick on Friday (actually the entire house is sick).  I know I'll be walking a ton in Florida so I just need to keep my diet on track.

    Way to go, Wendy!  Love those successes!

    Congratulations, that's fantastic!!

    I had a crappy weekend food wise.  DH & I went out to dinner Saturday night and went all out.  I'm back on track today though.  I know I keep saying it, but I need to start exercising!  I find it so hard to find the time but I just need to do it and plan for it at least a few times a week.

    I lost another about 1.5, so just over 7 lbs total this month.  I just feel so much better, even with just that weight lost.

    I started week 5 of C25K...I had to do Day 1 twice, as I ended up walking 1.5 minutes of one of the runs, and I want to complete every day.  I am loving the program and the way that I am feeling as a result.  I hope to sign up for a 5K in Spring/early summer.

    Got through 21 day no junk food challenge.  Had a slip up about once per week, but overall did great.  We went out Saturday night to "celebrate" :).  I got Nachos, but did not eat nearly as much as I would normally.  I want to work on portion sizes now that I am eating better things overall.
