? about boiling inserts...

I know that people boil inserts as a way of stripping.  Just wondering, can you boil the BG onesize inserts since they have snaps?  Has anyone tried this? I'd be worried about melting the snaps.  Thanks!

    Nothing with snaps should be boiled.

    Try soaking them in oxygen bleach overnight. Be picky about oxygen bleach though. I have some from Pacific Sands and it is really good and can be used on those poop stained clothes too. I would then run the inserts through a couple hot washes after that.

    Maybe, but the plastic integrity has been compromised. They'll more than likely crack/break before their normal lifetime.

    meh, i'd rather have that than the super smelly ammonia I was dealing with. I wouldn't do it with an AIO or cover and risk the snaps breaking, but I'm fine with an insert not snapping.
