Grape seed oil?

I was trying to find any threads about this oil. What do you use it for? As baby's moisturizer or for you? Is it CD safe? I was just curious because a while ago i remember a lot of people talking about it but I can't remember what they were recommending it for.

Re: Grape seed oil?

  • I know it's good for cooking but I don't like its taste. I use grape seed extract when doing loundry instead of bleach and that seems to work great. I stick to coconut oil for skin moisturizing but grape seed oil would be good for baby massages too :)

  • grape seed oil is a great alternative to regular vegetable oil.

It's really great for your skin - when I'm cooking I put a drop on my palm nad rub it on my face, LOL it's really really oily though. a tiny bit goes a long way.

for CDing try coconut oil instead - it's less oily and antibacterial and is CD safe (to the best of my knowledge. I haven't had any problems)

  • I use grape seed oil for baby massage.

  • A lot of homemade cold-pressed soap recipes use grape seed oil.  As well as coconut oil, olive oil etc.
