We have an extended cab pickup truck that is our baby transporter. We are not in a place to get a new vehicle as we are trying to buy a new house.
Can anyone recommend skinny carseats? I heard Sunshine Kids (Or Diono now) are really slender, but what about infant seats?
The way we see it, Newbie will be in the middle rear facing, and DD1 will be on the passenger side FF'ing because we won't be able to fit a seat rear facing behind the driver or passenger seats. I don't want to FF DD until she outgrows her seat, but we won't really have a choice, Newbie is due when DD is 23 months.
Re: Does anyone have two carseats in an extended cab truck?
We have a four door ford f 350 king ranch...it isn't our main vehicle...but we do use it when hauling cattle or doing chores around our farm. We can fit all three kiddos in the back...which is one booster seat...our orbit baby infant carrier and our graco 3 in 1 carseat...which is pretty large.
Is yours four door or 2 door with the backwards opening door behind the main? Either way...the Graco fits nicely. My husbands company truck is a smaller extended cab and they all fit in there as well.
It's a Chevy 2500HD with the suicide type doors.
I'll look into the Orbit carseat, thanks!
