Diaper stash question

Awhile ago, someone posted a question about how many disposable diapers in different sizes is good to have on hand to start. I can't seem to find it now though. Can anyone remember the numbers, or what is your recommendation for different numbers and sizes?

Be careful on stocking up on too many. LO might get a rash from the diaper or the brand you stash up on might not fit LO right and you have to switch. Best advice I got was to have options in brands and styles of diapers and wipes.

We just have one small pack of newborns and one small pack of size one.  The hospital also will give us some diapers.  We'll have those to use when she gets here, and then we can decide what size she really fits in and buy more of those.

I have 2 small packs of newborns (pampers and huggies) and 2 packs of size 1 and 1 pack of size 2 (all pampers).  Didn't want to buy too many until I find out how big my baby is!

Someone gave me about 20 newborn diapers that she didn't end up using and I haven't bought any more of that size just in case my LO is born bigger than that.  I have about 200 size 1s and 76 size 2s.  I got those with amazing deals from Target.  I would have gotten all size 1s, but they were out so I went with 2.  The way I look at it, size 1 goes up to 14 pounds and I'm pretty sure that LO won't be that size before we go through all of the 1s.  From what I've heard, newborns go through about 10 diapers a day, so this stash will really just get us through a month anyway.

We have two boxes and one bag of newborn diapers, three boxes and a bag of size 1s, and a box of size 2s.  All ours are Pampers.  I kept the receipts/BRU can look up the ones from there with my Rewards card if they don't work for LO.  Our hospital uses Pampers so hopefully they will work once we come home too.  I might pick up a bag of Huggies in their smallest size just in case.  I can always take them back/exchange them if I don't need them.

I have a closet full of different sizes and brands of diapers with the receipts attached to each package.  If she reacts to a brand or out grows a size you can always exchange them

I have 4 jumbo bags of nb, 3 bags & 1 huge box of 1's, 1 huge box of 2's and acouple jumbo bags + 1/2 a costco box of 3's.

this. I did the same. All of the packages have the receipts on them. We have mainly Pampers but some Huggies and a package of Luvs someone gave us at the shower.
