I saw someone mention only buying white towels earlier but I wasn't sure why that was and meant to ask. I was thinking about going to restoration hardware today and buying new towels since they're having their bed and bath event now.
So...why white towels? Is it just cleaner looking and easier to keep track of? or some other reason I'm not seeing?
TIA!
Re: Quick: why white bathroom towels?
I like them because we don't have a lot of whites to wash besides socks. Nice to always have something to complete a load of whites! I also like that you can bleach them. Towels that you can't bleach never seem clean to me.
Although it's not important to me, we always had white towels growing up because my mom liked to change the style of our bathroom every other year or so. Much easier to go from princess to sealife if you're not changing from pink to blue towels.
I actually dislike white towels. I think it's b/c every freaking hotel has over bleachy white towels and they make my skin hurt.
Oh, you need to try the restoration hardware towels. I think I've found my holy grail towels. But holy poop are they pricey! That's why I want to buy them now while they're on sale.
They need to use Vinegar in their rinse water. Our towels are not the least bit scratchy!! And we don't use fabric softener on them ever.
Ditto. I usually don't bleach my towels on every wash (only once a month or so) but they are always washed with a bit of OxyClean and vinegar in the rinse.
And it's why we only have white sheets on our bed, too.
