But she told me last week that if she and her DH ever had a girl, she would really love to name her Evoleht. She prefaced it with "No one ever likes it, but..." And I said, "Evelyn? There's nothing wrong with that at all!" She had to repeat the name about 6 times, AND spell it, before I knew what she was saying. Bad sign #1. Bad sign #2: it's "the love" spelled backwards. *runs away to vomit* She heard it somewhere and thought it was beautiful.

Yup. But for me it is mostly about that terrible spelling and the fact that it is anything backwards... the sound of it is not bad, honestly. It does, however, sound a lot like Evelyn, as you say.
Everything about that name is awful. It is definitely a red flag if before the baby is even born no one can pronounce the name properly.
