Hey gals. I miss you! I've been so, so busy lately. I wanted to wait to come in here until I knew what we were going to do, but that hasn't occurred yet! I don't know what we're doing/going to do TTC-wise. I don't think I've ovulated since... August. Oh, wow. Not good. We have so many medical bills from the last year that we really can't go back to the RE for a few months, if that. K is on board for foster/adopt, though, so that's awesome! I'm playing phone-tag with our DCF office, just trying to find out how to start. I think that's my little introduction to the foster system in IN. Frustration. But- I have amazing teachers here, so thanks for that.
Re: Just checking in-
So frustrating.
Have you looked at this organization: https://www.ifcaa.org/ ? It looks like they have a lot of good information on FC in Indiana.

Cautiously optimistic.
yeah, your dealings with DCF sounds about right
depending on how your state is set up, you may want to consider going through an agency - they often have better "customer service" so to speak. but, make sure that they have the type of placements you would be interested in (in my state all agency homes are "theraputic" foster homes for kids with more accute needs).

Yes, I have! We're planning on using them as a resource, for sure. Thanks
