Suddenly gagging on solids

We started solids between 5 and 6 months and everything went really well. My DS liked almost everything and would eat good portions. Lately, it's the total opposite. I can hardly get him to open his mouth. Then, when he does...he gags to the point of throwing up sometimes. Otherwise, he barely will eat anything besides milk. It's starting to drive me crazy. 

Any suggestions? I don't know what to do.

I would say another week or two your sons first tooth will come out! Does he already has teeth? Have you also noticed that he also poops more frequently? or any other teething symptoms? usually right before their teeth come out they loose their appetite
