I'm thinking of booking a joint birthday party for my girls and am wondering if anyone has any feedback from personal experiences...positive or negative. TIA!
I've had 2 parties there this year. We had DD's on a Saturday this summer and then DS's party last Sunday. I have to say I really love it. DD's was during museum hours and the con was that during cake time they made an announcement for our guests to come into the party room to do cake, but no one heard the announcement. So DH and I were trying to round up the guests to do cake with DD. DS was Sunday and we rented out the museum with one of my good friends (Bubbletoes). Her daughter had one room and we had another. It was nice that there were so many less kids there for this party. The cons were I didn't get to see Bubbletoes or her kids. We also had shared guests which worked out ok they spent half the time at one party and just bounced back and forth. Another con was the staff wasn't as helpful this time like they were this summer. I had to really direct the helper on what I wanted her to do. The best thing is they do help you set everything up and clean up for you. The kids get a free shirt and all the guests get a free pass to come back to the museum. All in all I think it's a great value and great venue. The kids all have a blast (dd was turning 3 ds was turning 2) and it's as little or as much work for decor as you want it. I would highly recommend it.

Awesome! Just what I needed to know! I went ahead and booked. Thanks!
we did a joint party on a sunday am when the museum was closed. it was great!! very positive experience!! nice to have the run of the place. couldn't go into the upstairs craft room though, but once the museum opened at 12, anyone was welcome to stay later and do whatever (most everyone left though).
