Im from Ontario Canada as well. But really north, as in Kirkland Lake! 

Wow!  That's quite a drive...you must have a lot of snow.  We usually do as well, being in the snow belt, but this has been a really strange winter.

it is possible I may be moving to Alabama in a few weeks...

We are only 24 miles from the Alabama border.  About 2 hours from Birmingham.

Yah, we got quite a few good dumps of snow, but it was really late getting here compared to other years. It's been really cold though!

My  DH will be at Mother Rucker for a few weeks this Spring. I will not be with him. I visited him there when he was there for school for 10 months back in 2002. I think I am a true city girl and need the fast pace of the Northeast because it was a huge culture shock for me going there.

We live just north of Hartford, CT.

Gawd, I love Wilmington. It's on my short list of Potential Forever Homes along with Amsterdam and Seattle. I used to live in Fayetteville and went to Wilmington at least every other weekend.

 

I live in Clovis, NM. It's about 2 hours from Amarillo and Lubbock, TX.
