DS's birthday is on Monday and his party is next weekend. I think every parent (we invited all the boys in his preschool class) has asked for suggestions on what to get him and I'm outof ideas. I need some new ones! So what is your 5 yo son into?

Liam is 5!

Re: What is your 5 year old DS into?
Transformers, hexbugs, legos, board games, sports (and the hats/jerseys of the sports he likes), science kits, puzzles and books.
ETA: How could I forget Hot Wheels? He loves those things, and all the tracks that come with them. And a really cool gift he got for his 5th birthday was a decorate your own monster truck set. He loved that. He's also big into remote control cars (even the cheap ones that break after he crashes them into the walls too many times)
Knights- got TRIO castle for Christmas
Dragons- How to Train Your Dragon in particular, DVDs and I just picked up figurines for $5 at Walmart clearance
Hexbugs- but not as interested in these. Not a lot of imagination involved.
Imaginext in any shape or form- got a set of Mega Dinosaurs for his birthday in December
DS - December 2006
DD - December 2008
Maps, globes, arts and crafts. One of his absolute favorite Christmas gifts was the Leapfrog Tag world map. It's pretty freaking cool, actually. I love playing with it with him.
Another favorite gift was the hypotrochoid art set (think spirographs).
