I have maybe 5 everyday shirts that I can easily whip a boob out of, some are made for nursing, and a few are just stretchy peasant tops. I'm really getting sick of my wardrobe and I want to mix it up but I feel so limited. What do you wear to facilitate BFing in public? (Going to post this on the BFing board too.)

When I went back to work I basically wore the same 3 nursing tops and a few other tops that allowed for easy access in order to pump. It was limiting, but spending money on a nursing wardrobe was not a top priority for me.
Good question. I feel so limited too. I found a shirt at the gap that is thin and has like 10 snaps down the middle, I bought it in every color they had lol so I wear those a lot and like you mentioned some peasant tops but that's about it, very boring.

I have 6 nursing tanks from Motherhood Maternity. Super comfy, easy snap front so that I can whip out the boob. The nursing pads stick pretty well to these.
Now that I'm back at work, I really need to invest in some nursing bras. I haven't worn a bra since DD was born.
Right now, I'm wearing a nursing tank with a button down shirt over it.
I dug out a few snap button western-style shirts I owned (from a few seasons ago). I pair those with jeans and boots and feel semi-fashionable when out and about. I also have a voluminous poncho that I can carry with me that throws on over a normal top.. It covers everything when I pull the shirt underneath up to nurse. Around the house and even for errands I wear Motherhood Maternity nursing tanks. I have one in every color. They are the kind that pull down. They are great under a cardigan, jacket, hoodie, whatever.
I gave up on nursing shirts. Everyone I owned stretched out or the flaps didn't quite cover my bra. Hate every single one I own although I will wear them around the house if nothing else is clean.

I felt like the reasonably priced nursing tops were all FUG. I had one good one that I wore if I knew I'd like NIP. Otherwise I tried to wear a tank would cover my tummy under any top or a loose cardigan that I could pull over. Aden & Anais blankets worked well for me to cover. I really didn't NIP too often though

Cheap tank tops (where if I ruin the strap I don't care) under any top made of fabric that has enough give to pull up- shirt goes up, tank goes down, boob comes out. or a nursing tank under a cardigan or zip.
I wear a nursing tank and a J. Crew cardigan, with jeans out of the house and yoga pants inside. i just do different updos and braids to make me feel like I'm trying, and I do my makeup when I leave the house. I also do my nails when I can.
I'm trying to get into the mindset of being happy when I look put together, and of paying attention to the little details. I get excited when my eyeliner looks really good. I know my style will change now, and I'm okay with that. I'm just trying to find things that I like to incorporate into the way I want to dress now, KWIM?

I bought about 10 nursing camis from Target. I don't wear a bra. I wear lilypadz so my nipples don't show through shirts. I also wear lanisoh (Sp) nursing pads because I get strong let downs with leaks. I attach nursing pad to the Cami and wear any shirt on top. I just have to make sure shirt is stretchy enough to roll up above my boob. I roll up shirt unhook the nursing cami and feed DS. It works so well because I can wear anything over my cami so I am wear. ing everything I have. I don't wear dresses or botton down shirts.

I'm not bf'ing now, but when I was, this was exactly what I did.
I always use a cover and don't BF in public often, so I'm not much help. But I own like 10 nursing tank tops from Target and I wear them everyday under another shirt. Then I just pull up my shirt and the tank top keeps me covered.

By this point, I'm calling myself the mothertrucking queen of NIP (and dd won't do a cover), I have only worn a bra less than 10 times in the last 8 months. Instead, I wear a target nursing tank, and then just a regular shirt over it. To NIP, I pull up the regular shirt, unsnap the nursing tank and let DD go to town. This way, nothing shows (my tummy is covered by the tank) and the top part of my boob is covered by the shirt I pull up.

This exactly I love my Target nursing tanks. Plus with it being winter time, I don't want to do just a nursing bra because it's colder out. (Plus I think most nursing bras that are reasonably priced are UGLY!) I have a lot of fitted tees/long sleeve tees and cardigans that pair well with them.

I do this with a nursing bra on. I also like Undercover Momma tanks I got at the local nursing store. They are strapless and clip to your nursing bra so everything comes down together- very convinient! They are the only nursing specific thing I wear. I wear normal tops or cardiagans on top. I wear Target nursing tanks with a long sleeved T or cardigan at night for side laying nursing.

Thanks for the ideas ladies. I've tried nursing tanks, which are okay for around the house but I haven't yet found any supportive enough. I've tried Motherhood, Gap and Target and none of them fit me well. Any of you well-endowed ladies found one that works?

Unfortunately, no. I don't buy the tanks with bra tops- no support at all. Just the ones that pull down with the elastic-y neckline.

I lived in nursing tanks (I loved the GlamourMom ones, b/c I'm pretty busty - 34DD, and they were long enough to cover my "less than svelte" belly)
Then, I would just wear my regular shirts over them - usually ones that were easy to pull up (stretchy or blousy) and be pretty discreet when I NIPed (I did it pretty much every day in DCPs living room!)
I didn't really like button downs or v-necks, b/c I felt too exposed then.

Glamour Mom and Bravada were the only two that gave me any support. I preferred GM, b/c they were longer to cover my belly and more supportive (they actually have adjustable bra hooks built in to the band.) They were definitely worth the investment!

I'm no help here, I rarely BF in public.

Nope. That's why I do the nursing bras for when I'm out. I've found that most of my regular tanks pull down just fine, that's also why I like the Undercover Mama. https://www.amazon.com/Nursing-Undercover-Mama-Black-Medium/dp/B003IYYEBG

I rotate through:
- Nursing tanks + cardigan
- Low-cut tops I can just pull down
- Normal tops with a low-cut tank underneath, so I can pull the top up and pull the tank down
This. We NIP all the time. I don't care if it offends people. I'm still way more covered than half the women running around flaunting their goods.
